From the beginning, NewsGeans attracted attention as a girl group of Min Hee-jin, who created a masterpiece of SM entertainment singers such as Taeyeon, SHINee, f(x), and Red Velvet. The first EP album “New Jeans,” which was born in numerous eyes, pursues easy listening pop that does not follow the standardized K- pop formula. It seems to tell a love story of its peers, but it is telling ‘we’ beyond an individual’s story. The title track “Attention”, “Hype Boy”, “Cookie” and the track “Hurt” are included.
Before their debut, K- pop looked at the worldview and angular performance very important. The story was important for any song or album, and it became an essential understanding factor for enjoying music. But Newsgins was different. Like the introduction of the album, all songs are easy to remember as “easy listening” (easy to listen to). In addition, the long straight hair and innocent atmosphere reminded me of the past, and the teenager who teenagers talk about created a different youth. With the development of SNS and the Internet, mysticism is said to have become unpopular, but the mystery of NewsGins has created newness.
The three title songs topped the music charts one after another, and Newsz’s choreography hit SNS. Within three months of his debut, he became the most searched artist of the year on the portal site Google and won two awards at the awards ceremony “MMA 2022.” In addition, “Hype Boy” has remained on the chart for 17 consecutive weeks since it first entered “Global 200” and “Global (excluding the U.S.)” on August 20. Attention is focusing on what kind of performance New Jinx, who is growing rapidly beyond “Monster Rookie,” will show at the 2022 AAA.
Meanwhile, “2022 AAA,” hosted by Star News and Media Boy and co -hosted by the Asia Artist Awards Organizing Committee, The Star Partner and Culture Entertainment, will be held offline for the first time in three years at Nihongai City Hall in Nagoya, Japan, on December 13 (Tue), and Lee Teuk and Jang Won-young will work together again. On December 14 (Wed), the Gala Show “2022 AAA AFTER STAGE” will be held for the first time at the same place. Hwang Min-hyun and Yabuki Nako, a former member of the group IZ*ONE, will co-host the event.
The “Asia Artist Awards,” which was first held in 2016, is the first integrated award ceremony in Korea that combines actors and singers, and has drawn keen attention from Asian stars beyond Korea.
