K-pop-only chart program “K-pop Radar” announced on the 9th that girl group BLACKPINK topped the weekly fandom chart for three consecutive weeks. In this chart, BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down” has maintained its No.
1 position for the third week. BLACKPINK’s “Shutdown” music video recorded 10.65 million views during the first week of December of k-pop Radar (November 2, 2022 to December 1, 2022).
In response, K-pop Radar said, “It has been two months since its release, but it is maintaining its No. 1 position again,” adding, “It is a top girl group that boasts unabated popularity.”
K-pop Radar, along with global media company 88 Rising, is broadcast across the United States for an hour every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on North America’s largest satellite radio SiriusXM channel. Attention is focusing on how long BLACKPINK’s unabated popularity will continue.
